AAA+ Orders and Dispatch Time

Painted Resin models may take up to 4 weeks or longer depending on a number of factors. If the model is showing available now, it will be dispatched within two working days, in most cases, decals (Water slides) Are the same, however in some cases, stock may be needed which will be up to 5 working days to dispatch. But we will be in contact with any delays on orders. Naturally we want to provide you with your item as soon as possible.

It takes a while to get a painted resin model for the following reasons.

1. Resin Models are becoming more an more popular, this is due to the ability to create a highly detailed model, most providers are taking up to 4-6 weeks to fill orders, we however do our utmost through our partnerships to get them to you sooner.

2. A resin model can take anything from 2-15 hours to print, if there is a power outage or error with the print or machine, it has to be printed again. We want to ensure you get a quality product.

3. Painted models also take us up to two days to complete, remember, these are specially painted for the customer. Often people are not aware of what goes into completing a model. Just for your insight, here are the steps.

1. Inspection and cleaning - filing and sanding and removing support parts.

2. Base coating.

3. Primary colour painting.

4. Paint scheme.

5. Detailing and Weathering.

6. Decals - where available, we will do our best to add correct decals. 

7. Sealing.
